Homes For The Homeless
Fire Station 39 at 127th & 30th, will host the homeless from November 2011 to April 1, 2012. Union Gospel Mission will be running the facility for up to 100 people, bringing the homeless in from other areas over the winter months.The exact nature of the shelter, whether it is open to singles, families, or if it will be a "wet" shelter is unknown at this time.The Chamber will post new information as it arrives.
